There are programs that provide new computers to people in need, but manufacturing electronics is so expensive that they’ll never fill the gap. Additionally, most of those programs only provide rudimentary “Chromebooks” that are only suitable for the most basic functions and will end up having to be disposed of when they are no longer useful. That’s why POSSIBLE PC came up with a way to utilize the computers that are discarded each day by people that upgrade to newer models, and refurbish them for use by people in need. POSSIBLE PC’s approach feeds two birds with one scone – by providing affordable refurbished computers to people in need, we’re also keeping people’s unwanted computers out of landfills where their poisonous byproducts leach into the soil.
